Residual Current Breaker with Over Current (RCBO) is a type of Circuit Breaker switch used to protect an electric circuit at the time of over current or short circuit scenario and hence prevent any damage to anything. Basically, electric technicians will recommend using a RCBO switch where there is a need to prevent

overload on a particular circuit which can lead to electric shock that has the potential to take lives.

But unlike other MCBs, RCBO has two circuits to detect an imbalance and an overload which makes it unique and more effective under overload situations.
